Customer Review: NOT for learning in your car
I have bought several books and CDs to learn and practice my French. I found this collection to be the worst. There is NO conversation. Words are repeated (TWICE) so that you have to memorize them. Simple phrases don't even start until Lesson 26. I found it impossible to listen to this in my car, since I couldn't stop or rewind quickly enough to hear the words again to repeat them. This was a waste of $$.
Customer Review: a relaxing way to learn french!!
This is a bargain way to learn french...it's also very relaxing. Just insert the cd into your car stereo and follow along. I have a one hour commute each way to school, and this is so much better than listening to the same old stuff on the radio!! I highly recommend.
