Are you kidding...a $40 radar detector that works? According to Radar Roy this Whistler unit is not too bad for the money. The range is not exceptional but for general use around town it fits the bill. Good display and easy to use it would be a good starter unit for someone that is not trying to drive fast or push the speed limit. You will buy something better eventually.
